Leukocytosis

Tests:
BCR-ABL
Lyphocyte subset panel
CBC
obtain ESR,
CRP,
ferritin,
fibrinogen (acute phase reactants),
procalcitonin level,
and Jak-2.

=> If BCR PCR negative. B-cells < 5000. The elevation of both neutrophils and lymphocytes makes a reactive process possible (such as from tobacco).

=> If BCR-ABL PCR, Lymphocyte Subset Panel and Jak2 Mutation are Negative, no additional work up recommended
